Tradewind Aviation Group is based at Coastal Carolina Regional Airport in New Bern and also operates at Washington Warren Airport. Both airports are located in North Carolina/USA.

Tradewind Aviation International is a flight school with a long tradition. We are a FAA certified school to providing flight training under both 14 CFR Part 61 and Part 141 with approved VA training programs. We have ten instructors on staff and a fleet of nine aircraft. Together with repute European partner flight schools we are an attractive destination for international pilots who want to ad FAA certificates and ratings  or just like to build flight experience. We provide full support in obtaining FAA validations based on foreign licenses. We also offer initial Private Pilot training for our interntional customers for excellent conditions. 

Tradewind Aviation Maintenance performs quality aircraft maintenance for the flight school fleet, for private aircraft owners, for commercial and charter operators and for government agencies.

Tradewind Aviation Air Services provides air charter operated by FEDAIR, LLC. A pressurized Piper Cheyenne II turboprop airplane for six passengers is serving destinations in the Eastern US.

Tradewind Sky Sports offers skydiving instruction and parachute jumping at Washington Warren Airport.

Airmen Medical Examinations

As of 02.17.2009 Tradewind offers in-house airmen medical examinations at our New Bern location. We are welcoming Dr. Roy Everett (AME) who will be available upon appointment.
